BOOKING INFORMATION
Books opening and closing
Check home page for status of books open or closed.
When the books are closed, please apply to be on the wait list. This way we can have a consult and quote ready to book when the books open. Please be patient for replies because sometimes I get an overwhelming amount of interest. (If the wait list link isn’t working it’s because wait list applications are closed)
When the Wait List application forms are CLOSED. This means, the link to the wait list page won’t work. This is because I can get overwhelmed with application forms.
If you keep an eye out on my Instagram, you will be updated with updates on things like when my wait list and/or books open. That way you can have a reminder to apply to be on the wait list as soon as possible ready for the books to open. Books will open to book generally in 3 month intervals. When they open see the booking section to apply. Wait list clients and continuations get priority because the quotes would be ready to go. If the wait list is enough to fill my available dates, I won’t open my books to the public because I don’t have the available dates to book people. So it’s safer to jump on the wait list early before the books fill up.
You don’t have to place a deposit straight away when on the wait list. Once you’ve sent through your application form, I’ll respond to your email and if you’re happy with the quote, I’ll place you on the wait list and I’ll be in contact with everyone off the list closer to the available dates with instructions on how to place a deposit. First to place a deposit, gets first dibs on available dates.
Continuations can be booked even while books are closed. These dates are subject to change when my calendar is finalized before opening books. Please visit Continuation Bookings section to book.
Commissions when available, are only available temporarily. (If the commission tab/page isn’t working or visible, that means commissions are closed and not available.) I will make exceptions on some styles, elements and concept designs that may be in my usual ‘don’t do’ list for tattoos. This will be discussed further when you receive a response email to the commission form you filled out. Commissions are primarily digital designs (digital sketch, digital painting, digital concept design, digital stencil, digital line drawing, etc). If you’re looking at commissioning a non'-digital piece, mention this in your concept description when filling the form out, I will consider it but please keep in mind, I may not be able to due to lack of resources for example. Pricing is determined by the commission specifics. Once agreed on pricing I will take a deposit and on the completion of the commission, full payment is to be made before you receive your completed commission. Pricing is subject to change if there are changes to the original discussed design and/or if the commission is taking longer than originally expected, in which case I will be in contact with you before going any further with the commission to avoid any conflict on pricing after a previously discussed quote is deemed irrelevant. For tattoo design commissions; this commission will include the tattoo design fit for your body (you will provide a photo of the area for the tattoo) and a separate stencil ready line drawing. If you book the tattoo in with me in the future, you will receive a discount on your tattoo quote. If you’re commissioning a tattoo design from me which is not a usual style or concept I tattoo, I may not be able to do the tattoo in the future. If you already have a quote and/or booking with me for a tattoo and you would like to have your design sooner, we can do this as a commission order and I will discount your tattoo quote on the day f your tattoo in the future. If you change your mind on the design for your tattoo or ask for significant changes, it will be considered a new design and the previous design and quote is then irrelevant.
The roster
Tattoo days are usually Monday to Friday. I rotate Mondays and Wednesdays off so these days can be booked out further. I’m not taking on Saturday and Sunday sessions anymore so I can spend time with my family. Sorry for any inconvenience.
I try to take time to myself because I get so booked out and not only does it burn me out, but it’s not fair on clients to be booked so far in advance for multiple reasons. Especially now I have a little family I want to spend more time with. It also makes it really difficult to organize time for guest spots and conventions in the near future. I always appreciate it when clients are very understanding of this if for any reason i need to reschedule appointments. Most of my clients know i’m not one to have sick days at the least because I feel so guilty, so not booking too far ahead makes it much easier when needing to move appointments around and planning dates for conventions and such in advance.
Tattoos i don’t do
Just a heads up about some tattoos I don’t do anymore; I don’t do script, pocket watches, clocks, compasses, dream catchers, trees, vines, paw/hand/foot prints, intricate vehicles/machinery, feathers and wings (with a small exception if they’re smaller elements in a bigger piece that I can create an original design for in my style). I rarely do small semi abstract splatter watercolour pieces anymore because my watercolour style has advanced to a more realism style. I strictly don’t do geometric, mandalas, filigree, tribal or strongly based linework styles. With reworks/add ons of previously done work by other artists I have a small exception, so it depends on the piece. I don’t do some fantasy stuff like phoenixes and dragons because I rely on reference photos for realism. But I do love to do mermaids and demons and sometimes I love designing fairies and angels. I’m sorry if what you want to get is on this list, I just want my clients to get the best possible tattoo and I’m not the best artist for these pieces. If you would potentially like a recommendation of another artist who may suit what you’re after, please contact me with the subject ‘artist recommendation’ and I will do my best to help.
I am extremely grateful that I have a large interest in people wanting to book with me. It’s very humbling to know that you like my artwork enough to trust me to put something on you forever. When I take a tattoo on, I’ve taken it on because i’m confident i’m going to do it justice in my style. If you like my work, please trust I always put 110% into every design, so you should like what I design. I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for the countless people who have put their trust in me and i’ll forever be grateful for that.
PLEASE READ - If you haven’t received a response email from your application form, please do not resend the form and/or emails. If your information was insufficiently filled, if your concept isn’t in my style, if your concept is in my ‘don’t do’ list, there is a high chance your application may be put aside while others get priority and you may not get a response, especially if the bookings fill up.
If you have any questions, please see the FAQ section and if you have further questions please contact me.
Please read the pricing page for information on the pricing, deposit and cancelation policy.
