PRICING

Price is determined by the individual tattoo and how long it will take to do. Here I will give a rough pricing so you can get an idea of the cost.

I get a lot of interest for tattoos and unfortunately a lot of that interest is by people just checking to see how much their tattoo may cost but to get a quote, we need to go through a potentially timely consult process. This way i’m hoping people can get an idea of cost before we do our consult. I take all my consults seriously and would like to go through with them into a tattoo, not turned down once we get to the pricing quote. I understand tattoos are expensive luxuries and not everyone can afford them.

While my books are closed, I do consults and quotes as much as I can but please be patient because I am very busy. If you keep an eye out on my Instagram, you will be updated with updates on things like when my books open.

Some tattoos like sleeves are very difficult to get an exact quote on. “How much is a sleeve?” is an impossible question to answer. It’s like, “how long is a piece of string?” I always do my best to quote but sometimes it takes longer and sometimes it takes less time. I like to quote worst case as best I can, so that you’re less likely to be disappointed if it takes that long because you’re prepared for it.

My hourly rate is $250/hour. I have a minimum of 2 hours. That means if the tattoo takes less than 2 hours, its priced as a 2 hour tattoo. My day rate is $1600 which is priced cheaper than an hourly rate for the full day. GST is included in this pricing.

Artwork is inclusive of the booking; under some circumstances, like changing designs at last minute to something different than what was discussed prior to booking, an artwork fee will be issued. If a cancelation occurs and artwork has already been done, deposit will be utilised as an artwork fee.

I always take a non-refundable deposit. The amount in the deposit depends on the length of the appointment. This deposit holds all appointments if you have booked multiple. The deposit is utilized in the final payment. If you use the deposit before your tattoo is finished, you will need to make another deposit to make another booking. No deposit = No booking.
Day sessions are generally $400 deposits. Except for larger projects (like sleeves and back pieces for example) I now require a larger deposit of an amount of $800. This is to protect myself and my business due to last minute reschedules and cancelations in the past and to avoid future mishaps which ultimately leave me and the studio at a loss. I pride myself on being a very overly prepared person and this means sometimes I can be weeks ahead with my preparations and artwork for my tattoo projects. Unfortunately this also means I can be punished for being so prepared because I would lose the time I spent on that artwork and not be compensated for my time doing the artwork. With last minute no shows and cancellations, this also means that it can be very difficult for me to fill a full day session and then the studio and myself are out of pocket for a full day of tattooing. I hope you understand my reasoning behind the larger deposit request. It was a very difficult decision for me but I have to do what’s right in protecting myself and my business.

For full day bookings, the deposit is lost if the appointment is cancelled or rescheduled within 7 days. You will need to make another deposit if you’re making another booking. For less than a full day, you need to adjust the appointment outside 48 hours to hold the deposit. Unless you have a medical certificate, then you would need to provide a copy of this to ensure your deposit is held.
If I’ve already done the artwork when you cancel, you will lose your deposit as an artwork fee.

Commissions when available, are only available temporarily. (If the commission tab/page isn’t working or visible, that means commissions are closed and not available.) Commissions are primarily digital designs (digital sketch, digital painting, digital concept design, digital stencil, digital line drawing, etc). If you’re looking at commissioning a non'-digital piece, mention this in your concept description when filling the form out, I will consider it but please keep in mind, I may not be able to due to lack of resources for example. Non-digital commissions will be a higher price quote than digital commissions. Pricing is determined by the commission specifics. Once agreed on pricing I will take a deposit and on the completion of the commission, full payment is to be made before you receive your completed commission. Pricing is subject to change if there are changes to the original discussed design and/or if the commission is taking longer than originally expected, in which case I will be in contact with you before going any further with the commission to avoid any conflict on pricing after a previously discussed quote is deemed irrelevant. For tattoo design commissions; this commission will include the tattoo design fit for your body (you will provide a photo of the area for the tattoo) and a separate stencil ready line drawing. If you book the tattoo in with me in the future, you will receive a discount on your tattoo quote. If you’re commissioning a tattoo design from me which is not a usual style or concept I tattoo, I may not be able to do the tattoo in the future. If you already have a quote and/or booking with me for a tattoo and you would like to have your design sooner, we can do this as a commission order and I will discount your tattoo quote on the day of your tattoo in the future. If you change your mind on the design for your tattoo or ask for significant changes, it will be considered a new design and the previous design and quote is then irrelevant.

If you have any further questions on pricing of commissions, please contact me.
